How to prevent injuries in Para sport

In physical demanding activities as you can see in most Para sports, make sure you take enough time to warm up all parts of the body. Even though it might seem more important to spend all your energy at game-related elements, a good warm-up will help prepare the body both physically and mentally for what’s to come and help prevent injuries.

Injuries in Para sport often occur in two ways: acute injuries from falling or crashing, and overuse injuries that develop over time because of overtraining and insufficient recovery time.
